How You can Become a Permanent
Non-Smoker
In Under 2 Hours

I have been in practice for 32 years. During this time, I
have been able to refine a process which has allowed me to help countless
people to stop smoking and stay stopped in under 2 hours without gaining
weight. I am a Licensed Psychotherapist and a Certified Hypnotherapist.
WHY MY APPROACH
The latest medical research shows, that for most smokers,
the physiological addiction to nicotine leaves their body within two days of not
smoking. Therefore, the struggle they go through after that is psychological,
not physiological. Thus, it makes sense to have a psychological approach to
resolve this problem.
I have also observed that hypnosis, by itself, does not
create a lasting change. However, a behavioral approach to smoking reinforced
with hypnosis tends to have the highest rate of effectiveness and that is
what I have created.
UNDERSTANDING WHAT IT TAKES FOR A SMOKER TO
STOP SMOKING AND STAY STOPPED
There are a number of aspects that need to be addressed to
assist you in becoming a permanent non-smoker.
Identify The Functions Of The Smoking And
Create Non- Eating Positive Replacements
First, we need to identify all of the functions that you
are using the smoking for. If we just try to knock out the habit without
first identifying its functions, a person tends to go back to that negative
habit to meet those functions or replace it with another negative habit. The
most typical replacement is compulsive eating. Therefore, I help you to
create non-eating alternatives.
Working With The Anxiety Threshold
Next, I show you how to work with your anxiety threshold
.The anxiety threshold is a person's "boiling point." It is a level
of stress and/or anxiety a person reaches where momentarily, all of their best
intentions and willpower tends to go right out the window. It is at
this point that many people have gone back to smoking. I teach you how to work with your stress and anxiety in ways
that allow you to avoid hitting that threshold point.
Building The Self Image Of A Non-Smoker
When a person has been smoking for awhile, being a smoker
has become a part of their self-image,
either at the conscious and/or
unconscious level. Research has
demonstrated that if a person's self-image doesn't fully shift first, either
they don't make their desired change or they are not able to sustain that
change.
Most people are not able to maintain a change that exceeds
their self-image. Thus, one of the critical components of helping you to
become a permanent non-smoker is to help you build a non-smoker self image.
To build and reinforce your self image as a non-smoker, hypnosis is the most
effective tool.
Knocking Out The Habits Associated With Smoking
The next key is to show you how to change the habit
patterns you have associated with smoking.
The Importance Of A Thorough Approach
The tricky thing about smoking is that if even one of
those aspects that I have named to you is not fully resolved, either the person
doesn't stop or they don't stay stopped. One of the keys to success is the
completeness of my approach.

Q. How can you help me in such a short time?
A. Practice. In my 32 years of helping people, I have
gotten unsuccessful graduates from many other stop smoking programs, I have
been able to observe what doesn't work for people and what does. Thus, the
help you are receiving from me is based on lots of years of refining my
approach.
Q.I have met people that just went for hypnosis and they
stopped smoking. Why do you use other approaches in addition to the
hypnosis?
A. Over the years, a lot of people have come for my help
that had previously only received hypnosis to stop smoking and then went back
to smoking.
My goal is not only to help you stop smoking. It is also
to help you to maximize the probability that you will remain a permanent non-smoker.
I have found that
the most effective way to do that is to combine the conscious replacement
strategies with hypnosis providing the unconscious reinforcement.
Q. How will I know if I am ready to stop smoking? I really
enjoy smoking.
A. Many of the people that have come for my help really
enjoyed smoking. However, they came for my help to stop smoking because they
had determined that the positive benefits they received from smoking were far
out-weighed by the present and potential consequences of smoking.
Also, most people come to me wanting to stop smoking, but
not being ready to stop smoking. A key part of my work with you is to help
you to become ready to stop smoking.
I DO CONSULTATIONS BOTH IN PERSON AND BY PHONE
I have a statewide clientele. I work with most of my local
clients in person. I work with the rest of my local clients and most of my
out of the area clients by phone. I have found that my phone sessions are
just as effective as my in person sessions. Thus, if your home or office is
not geographically close to me, I can still help you.
Isn’t it More effective to Go to a Professional in Person,
than to Work with Them over The Phone, Especially for Hypnosis?
That’s what I believed, IN THE
PAST. Years ago, I was working with a couple that taught me otherwise. They
were moving out of the area and asked to continue working with me. I told them
that I had never worked with clients by phone because I assumed that it
wouldn’t be as effective as seeing them in person.
I said that I was happy to teach
them how to find someone else that would be local to them. They said “we’ve
been to a lot of therapists before we found you and you’ve helped us more
than all the rest put together. Since you’ve never done phone therapy before,
we’re asking you to give it a try with us when we move.”
I told them that I was willing to try but
would not continue if I felt it wasn’t as effective as the work that I was
doing with them face to face. To my surprise, it was just as effective. They
started referring new friends and work associates to me for couple counseling, stop smoking, and for lots of other
problems that I successfully help with. These were people who never had and
never would see me in person. Again to my surprise, they were getting the
same level of results as my in person clients including for those clients that I was doing hypnosis with to stop smoking.
At this point in time, I work
with many of my clients by phone. Even many of my local clients choose to
work with me by phone because they’ve found it’s just as effective and they
have a zero commute time.
Thus, in terms of getting good
results, I no longer believe there’s an advantage for you to work with a
hypnotherapist or a therapist in person. If you prefer to, that’s fine.
When it comes to Stopping
Smoking and Staying Stopped weather you do it in person or by phone, its
important to go to someone that covers all the areas I told you about.
